Delays by Trade War

David is a very nice person, he placed an order right before our holiday, and when we told him we couldn't finish it on time and could refund him, he trusted us and allowed us to ship after the holiday.



However, when we were back from holiday, on 23rd March, 2018, the Trump administrative announced the plan of rising tariff on products imported from China.
This caused a lot of USA importers trying to bring in huge quantity of cargo before the new tariff taking effect, which further caused serious jam at both seaports and airports.

We planned to use seafreight to ship David's order to USA first and then from USA to Canada.
However, due to the serious delays, we changed for airfreight to ship his order directly from China to USA, and took all the cost on our own.







With airfreight, the cargo arrived soon, and he was happy.
